Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Erivaldo Luz started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Morere getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Dito Paraíba hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the game, Arlindo Recife was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MotoSerra FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Morere the free kick. After 14 played minutes MotoSerra FC got a freekick which was hit by Arlindo Recife. Mateus Lucas, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Luís Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Brito having to interfere. In the 23rd minute there was a penalty for MotoSerra FC. Narciso de Andrade stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jonas Brito. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in MotoSerra FC's zone, Erivaldo Luz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murillo Simões came out of the goal and Erivaldo Luz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guto do Vale during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Guto do Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Mateus Lucas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and MotoSerra FC's Murillo Simões didn't even have to move. 40 minutes into the match, Morere's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Paiva came free, but Jonas Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Morere's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Narciso de Andrade was slow to take the kick. During this time MotoSerra FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Morere's goalie and right to Jonas Paiva. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Morere's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. André Ceresso kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonas Paiva to make the kick off. If Erivaldo Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abelardo Rosa charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abelardo Rosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th minute Dadá Carioca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murillo Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Murillo Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erivaldo Luz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th match minute, MotoSerra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arlindo Recife to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Luís Albuquerque got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Murillo Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erivaldo Luz in the 68th minute of the match. Rafael Paraense hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. If Jonas Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, MotoSerra FC's Arlindo Recife got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After taking down the ball on Morere's corner Mateus Lucas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Murillo Simões quite easily take care of the ball. After 89 played minutes MotoSerra FC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Albuquerque. A collision led to MotoSerra FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Dida Nogueira hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frank da Silveira during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in MotoSerra FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! The MotoSerra FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
