Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dudu Tasso kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Marcinho de Queirós recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aníbal Zonta. Marcinho de Queirós showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Evandro Tinoco came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Pegasus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evandro Tinoco couldn't finish the play. Denílson Gaspar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aníbal Zonta came out and tried to block the shot, but Denílson Gaspar slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 11th minute. Ibirarema's Aníbal Zonta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denílson Gaspar in the 17th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Ibirarema got a freekick which was hit by Nando Britto. Rubinho Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Aníbal Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aníbal Zonta was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Rubinho Vargas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rubinho Vargas really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Evandro Tinoco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pegasus FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Evandro Tinoco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aníbal Zonta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dudu Tasso hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Aníbal Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubinho Vargas in the 29th minute of play. Aníbal Zonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denílson Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Didi Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remo Falcão in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aníbal Zonta, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ediberto Reis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-0 in the 38th playminute. Rubinho Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Aníbal Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aníbal Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubinho Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Ibirarema's goal looked a bit too open when Rubinho Vargas came free, but Aníbal Zonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Rubinho Vargas made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Ediberto Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the match, Denílson Gaspar notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Ibirarema's Aníbal Zonta. Aníbal Zonta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Marcinho de Queirós fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pegasus FC's protests and gave Marcinho de Queirós a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubinho Vargas in the 67th minute of play forced Ibirarema's goalkeeper Aníbal Zonta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denílson Gaspar hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, Ibirarema's goal looked a bit too open when Marcinho de Queirós came free, but Aníbal Zonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ibirarema's Aníbal Zonta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ediberto Reis in the 75th minute of play. The supporters of Ibirarema booed when Pegasus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcinho de Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. Remo Falcão took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aníbal Zonta. Aníbal Zonta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Aníbal Zonta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denílson Gaspar in the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute Evandro Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aníbal Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remo Falcão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the game, Pegasus FC's Rubinho Vargas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aníbal Zonta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Ibirarema's Aníbal Zonta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evandro Tinoco in the 92nd minute of play. Evandro Tinoco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pegasus FC's Evandro Tinoco got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
