Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonardo da Rocha started the match with the kick off. Ondina SS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Antônio Carlos de Godoi scored to the left of an out of position Valdir Campidelis, making the score, 1-0. Leonardo da Rocha scored 1-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Machado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ondina SS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Antônio Carlos de Godoi scored to the left of an out of position Valdir Campidelis, making the score, 2-1. Valdir Campidelis was a little too slow when Antônio Carlos de Godoi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 3-1. Leonardo da Rocha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Machado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Nildo Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Otávio Arruda hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 25th minute, when C Sinopense O Retorno FC's Jorginho Sabóia after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Valdir Campidelis in Ondina SS's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. 31 minutes into the match, Wanderson Vale had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valdir Campidelis. Ondina SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wanderson Vale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. With a little luck, Ondina SS's Valdir Campidelis got control of the ball when Antônio Carlos de Godoi tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot 38 in the game by Antônio Carlos de Godoi from a close distance when the talented Valdir Campidelis managed to make a qualified save. Ondina SS's players were relieved. 41 minutes into the game, Ronaldinho Aparecido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ondina SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C Sinopense O Retorno FC the free kick. Leonardo da Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Thiago Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Carlos de Godoi in the 52nd minute of play forced Ondina SS's goalkeeper Valdir Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 56 minutes, Nildo Sabóia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ondina SS and the C Sinopense O Retorno FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of C Sinopense O Retorno FC booed when Ondina SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nildo Sabóia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Ondina SS's goal looked a bit too open when Nilmar Monteiro came free, but Valdir Campidelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ondina SS's Valdir Campidelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilmar Monteiro in the 59th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Antônio Carlos de Godoi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valdir Campidelis. Ondina SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antônio Carlos de Godoi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Valdir Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Carlos de Godoi in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Nilmar Monteiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valdir Campidelis. Ondina SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nilmar Monteiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Antônio Carlos de Godoi scored 7-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valdir Campidelis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Washington Negri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valdir Campidelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wanderson Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Valdir Campidelis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nilmar Monteiro went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. Thiago Machado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yuri Lara in the 90th minute. 95 minutes into the game, C Sinopense O Retorno FC's Antônio Carlos de Godoi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valdir Campidelis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-1. There was no doubt that C Sinopense O Retorno FC were the better team. C Sinopense O Retorno FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
