Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) With a little luck, AtLéTiCo GaLvAn's Amauri Munhoz got control of the ball when Frank de Amaral tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amauri Munhoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Breckenfeld in the 11th minute of play. Amauri Munhoz made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when João Vítor Gaúcho sent off a good shot on target. 15 minutes into the match, AtLéTiCo GaLvAn's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Breckenfeld came free, but Amauri Munhoz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute of the match, Frank de Amaral tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Amauri Munhoz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Marangua booed when AtLéTiCo GaLvAn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nilton Gonçalves came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by AtLéTiCo GaLvAn's Stathis Lolos. But to his dismay, Stathis Lolos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Edgard Breckenfeld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute, Noel Mendonça made a precise shot to the right of Nilton Gonçalves. Marangua's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Frank de Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marangua's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank de Amaral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amauri Munhoz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amauri Munhoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Breckenfeld, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgard Breckenfeld to make the kick off. João Vítor Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amauri Munhoz having to interfere. When Chiquinho Vargas fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AtLéTiCo GaLvAn's protests and gave Chiquinho Vargas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th minute, Chiquinho Vargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AtLéTiCo GaLvAn's Wilian Marinho was substituted for Chiquinho Vargas. Edgard Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nilton Gonçalves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Edgard Breckenfeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amauri Munhoz having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Eliseu Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iuri Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AtLéTiCo GaLvAn's Amauri Munhoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Breckenfeld in the 78th minute of play. Edgard Breckenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Amauri Munhoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 85 played minutes AtLéTiCo GaLvAn got a freekick which was hit by Vitinho Barral. Luiz Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Chants of AtLéTiCo GaLvAn echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Marangua had held the ball for most of the match.
