Tião de Barros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Cássio Dionísio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 10th play minute Nelsinho Berger came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Emerson Abreu. 1-1. Nelsinho Berger's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Emerson Abreu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 18 minutes into the match, Frédson Aguiar notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of TOP™- SANTÁSTICO - FDFDF's Tião de Barros. Tião de Barros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. TOP™- SANTÁSTICO - FDFDF's Nelsinho Berger got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hortêncio Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emerson Abreu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nelsinho Berger in the 26th minute. Tião de Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frédson Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Nelsinho Berger who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Emerson Abreu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tião de Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clóvis Cavalcante in the 37th minute of the match. A hard shot 38 in the game by Nelsinho Berger from a close distance when the talented Emerson Abreu managed to make a qualified save. Umbrella Star's players were relieved. With a little luck, Umbrella Star's Emerson Abreu got control of the ball when Nelsinho Berger tried to sneak it across the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, José Pedro Albuquerque was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Umbrella Star's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TOP™- SANTÁSTICO - FDFDF the free kick. In the 42nd minute, one of Umbrella Star:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Umbrella Star. When the match had been going on for 44 minutes, TOP™- SANTÁSTICO - FDFDF's Luís Paulo Carvalho got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Emerson Abreu. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Sarmento to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Tião de Barros managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Umbrella Star's Frédson Aguiar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 60 minutes into the match, Nelsinho Berger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emerson Abreu. Umbrella Star's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nelsinho Berger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Emerson Abreu came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by TOP™- SANTÁSTICO - FDFDF's Nelsinho Berger. But to his dismay, Nelsinho Berger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. 66 minutes into the match, Cássio Dionísio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emerson Abreu. Umbrella Star's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cássio Dionísio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Emerson Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelsinho Berger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tião de Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Sarmento, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After 77 played minutes Umbrella Star got a freekick which was hit by Clóvis Cavalcante. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelsinho Berger in the 86th minute of play forced Umbrella Star's goalkeeper Emerson Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tião de Barros made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Frédson Aguiar sent off a good shot on target. Umbrella Star's Emerson Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelsinho Berger in the 90th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Remo Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot. TOP™- SANTÁSTICO - FDFDF's supporters rose to their feet, but Remo Lopez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emerson Abreu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. TOP™- SANTÁSTICO - FDFDF fully deserved thier win.
