Ligeiro F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paraná Clube the free kick. The supporters of Paraná Clube booed when Ligeiro F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chico Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute of the match, Adelino Ramalho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leonardo de Castro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Paraná Clube's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Adelino Ramalho scored to the left of an out of position Leonardo de Castro, making the score, 1-0. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Paraná Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rubinho Cunha was slow to take the kick. During this time Ligeiro F.C's players had a chance to rest. With a little luck, Paraná Clube's Leonardo de Castro got control of the ball when Frank Tasso tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th minute, Frank Tasso made a precise shot to the right of Leonardo de Castro. Paraná Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Adelino Ramalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo de Castro having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ligeiro F.C's Caio Koehler got a free kick in the 24th minute. Leonardo de Castro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abel Saldanha showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 26 minute of play. Leonardo de Castro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Tasso to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Abel Saldanha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Leonardo de Castro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leonardo de Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Ramalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ligeiro F.C's Bernardo Amorim got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Abel Saldanha scored 7-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonardo de Castro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
