Francisco Félix was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gláuber Bezerra hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, G E Gálatas's goal looked a bit too open when Oswaldo Matos came free, but Francisco Félix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Fernando Quirino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Carlos Alcântara having to interfere. With a little luck, TRAKINAS FC's João Carlos Alcântara got control of the ball when Pedro de Brito tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of TRAKINAS FC booed when G E Gálatas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrianinho de Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gláuber Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Francisco Félix came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by TRAKINAS FC's Gláuber Bezerra. But to his dismay, Gláuber Bezerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 25 minutes into the game, Oswaldo Matos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Francisco Félix was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luiz Fernando Quirino might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Carlos Alcântara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luiz Fernando Quirino ran back to his position shaking his head. After 39 played minutes G E Gálatas got a freekick which was hit by Edinho Mangueira. When Gláuber Bezerra came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the TRAKINAS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gláuber Bezerra couldn't finish the play. Francisco Félix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gláuber Bezerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro de Brito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Bruno Melillo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Francisco Félix. That made the score 0-4 in the 58 minute of play. G E Gálatas's Francisco Félix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gláuber Bezerra in the 62nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Pedro de Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot. G E Gálatas's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro de Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Carlos Alcântara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th minute, Josué Godoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nelson Paraíba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Francisco Félix made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in G E Gálatas's zone, Nelson Paraíba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Félix came out of the goal and Nelson Paraíba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. TRAKINAS FC made a substitution. Charles Oliveira replaced Oswaldo Matos. When Luiz Fernando Quirino came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the G E Gálatas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Fernando Quirino couldn't finish the play. Francisco Félix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. TRAKINAS FC were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after G E Gálatas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bruno Melillo took the corner. If Charles Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, G E Gálatas's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Oliveira came free, but Francisco Félix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. TRAKINAS FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
