Kearny's Enéas Eger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Roberto Cavalcante in the 5th minute of play. Enéas Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Valladares, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Enéas Eger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Roberto Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cláudio Terra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enéas Eger having to interfere. In the 12thth minute of the game Cláudio Terra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.C. Kearny's Enéas Eger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dương Hung during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th match minute, A.C. Kearny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Ortiz to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Maragipinho's Kléberson Zonta got control of the ball when Siro Edur tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Maragipinho's Zé Roberto Cavalcante sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enéas Eger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The wind increased when Zé Roberto Cavalcante made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to A.C. Kearny getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Sixto Theobald hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Maragipinho's Luizão Alcântara tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute Edinho Carneiro suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. When Dương Hung was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 58 minutes had been played. After 60 played minutes A.C. Kearny got a freekick which was hit by Dương Hung. Enéas Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Valladares in the 66th minute of the match. Enéas Eger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cláudio Terra in the 75th minute. If Cláudio Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in A.C. Kearny's zone, Cláudio Terra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enéas Eger came out of the goal and Cláudio Terra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th match minute, A.C. Kearny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vânderson Amaral to maneuver through the defense. Cláudio Terra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Enéas Eger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Cláudio Terra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maragipinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Cláudio Terra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enéas Eger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Willian Batista took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kléberson Zonta. Kléberson Zonta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.
