The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Salobense FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robinho Proença should have stopped the shot. Donato Penha took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robinho Proença. Robinho Proença dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Donato Penha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robinho Proença having to make a save. Vasco Ipameri's Sílvio Luís Tepedino got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Donato Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robinho Proença having to interfere. In the 38thth minute of the game Donato Penha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salobense FC's Robinho Proença was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donato Penha in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robinho Proença prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Robinho Proença showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Robinho Proença stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donato Penha's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Donato Penha made the kick off in the second half. In the 81st minute, Ademar Marinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th match minute, Salobense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Dionísio to maneuver through the defense. Felipe Maia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Robinho Proença. Salobense FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Donato Penha sped through Salobense FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Robinho Proença. Vasco Ipameri's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
