With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik Secco in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolas Oliveira saved Niquini FC from getting behind. Dráusio Zanette hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erik Secco in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicolas Oliveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 29 minutes into the match, Tottenham's goalkeeper Otávio de Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erivaldo Netto. Ulysses Cearense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Niquini FC's Otávio de Barros threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ciro Bertassi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Otávio de Barros was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Ciro Bertassi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ciro Bertassi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Niquini FC's Nicolas Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Secco in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Niquini FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulysses Cearense to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute João Adolfo Ferraz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th match minute, Tottenham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Secco to maneuver through the defense. Nicolas Oliveira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erik Secco's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erik Secco to make the kick off. Nicolas Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Secco in the 52nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Erik Secco sped through Niquini FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nicolas Oliveira. After 59 played minutes Tottenham got a freekick which was hit by Oséas Lira. After a rather tough play, Niquini FC's Júlio Siqueira got a free kick in the 60th minute. Erik Secco took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolas Oliveira. Nicolas Oliveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Otávio de Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erivaldo Netto in the 75th minute of play forced Tottenham's goalkeeper Otávio de Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Erik Secco came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Tottenham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Secco couldn't finish the play. Otávio de Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Niquini FC's Eugênio Rocha got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Otávio de Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erivaldo Netto in the 88th minute of the match. After having played for 89 minutes, Ulysses Cearense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Niquini FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulysses Cearense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute Erivaldo Netto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otávio de Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Secco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Nicolas Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tottenham walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
