Wambasther Barthez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Lacothengo de Futiboloca's Wambasther Barthez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Leon in the 26th minute of play. 31 minutes in the game, Alfonso Leon dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After 32 played minutes Lacothengo de Futiboloca got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Otoniel. 34 minutes into the match, Lacothengo de Futiboloca's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Leon came free, but Wambasther Barthez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wambasther Barthez having to interfere. After 38 played minutes E.C.Pelotas got a freekick which was hit by Nando Vides. Sobhy Paredes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Aguilera, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Alfonso Leon made a precise shot to the right of Wambasther Barthez. Lacothengo de Futiboloca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Leon in the 45th minute of play forced Lacothengo de Futiboloca's goalkeeper Wambasther Barthez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerson Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Wambasther Barthez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Leon in the 76th minute of play. Lacothengo de Futiboloca's Wambasther Barthez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Lacothengo de Futiboloca from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Lacothengo de Futiboloca's Gilvan Ramos got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lacothengo de Futiboloca's goalkeeper Wambasther Barthez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. E.C.Pelotas's Ataulfo Macho quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Peneios Montxo, made in the 90th minute of the game. Alfonso Leons short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Wambasther Barthez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. E.C.Pelotas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
