In the 4th minute, Genílson da Rocha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Moses Mos. The goal made the score 1-0. Fernando Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 10 minutes into the match, Elivélton Loyola notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Pucazeiro's Moses Mos. Moses Mos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Machado in the 13th minute of play forced Inter de Plataforma FC.'s goalkeeper Hernani Zonta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Cafu Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute Fernando Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernani Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pucazeiro's Moses Mos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remi Rassen in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Genílson da Rocha recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Moses Mos. Genílson da Rocha showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Genílson da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inter de Plataforma FC.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Genílson da Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moses Mos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Pucazeiro booed when Inter de Plataforma FC. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Melo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pucazeiro's Moses Mos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Pucazeiro from getting a goal against them. Hernani Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráuzio Zanette in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Inter de Plataforma FC.'s Agostinho Zanussi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Agostinho Zanussi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Inter de Plataforma FC. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Agostinho Zanussi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Inter de Plataforma FC.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pucazeiro:s goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Remi Rassen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hernani Zonta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Paranaense in the 51st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Remi Rassen put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Moses Mos. In the 59th minute of the match, Pedro Paranaense tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hernani Zonta saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 60 played minutes Inter de Plataforma FC. got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Melo. Luís Eduardo Rocha hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Hernani Zonta acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 62nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Caio Palmeira. Pedro Paranaense hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Moses Mos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Remi Rassen's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Hernani Zonta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Paranaense in the 74th minute of the match. Pucazeiro were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Inter de Plataforma FC.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Caio Palmeira took the corner. Remi Rassen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th match minute, Pucazeiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cafu Alves to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Genílson da Rocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Remi Rassen in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Moses Mos saved Pucazeiro from getting behind. 86 minutes into the match, Iwan Poling notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Pucazeiro's Moses Mos.
