Hernani Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zico Maravilha, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After taking down the ball on Misericordia EC's corner Aníbal Goiano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hernani Zonta quite easily take care of the ball. In the 82nd minute, Paul Moon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Inter de Plataforma FC. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Misericordia EC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
