Spectators: 7770 (Terracing: 5828, Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 155) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bernardinho Cardoso made the kick off which started today's match. 2 minutes into the match, Şentürk Sati notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Rezende FC's Reynaldo das Neves. Reynaldo das Neves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Reynaldo das Neves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Şentürk Sati's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. José Luis Heidemann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardinho Cardoso in the 11th minute of play. Fernandinho Furtado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reynaldo das Neves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, Rezende FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josué Castro to maneuver through the defense. José Luis Heidemann was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bernardinho Cardoso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 18 minute of play. Reynaldo das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şentürk Sati in the 23rd minute of play. Afonsinho Tasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Afonsinho Tasso got free with José Luis Heidemann in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Şentürk Sati came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Tapiramuta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Şentürk Sati couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the match, Tapiramuta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Afonsinho Tasso came free, but José Luis Heidemann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tapiramuta FC's Paolo Maldini got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rezende FC's zone, Şentürk Sati stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo das Neves came out of the goal and Şentürk Sati tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute Afonsinho Tasso suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. With an all-out effort, Rezende FC's José Luis Heidemann threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Afonsinho Tasso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ian Moraes's late challenge caught a Rezende FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ian Moraes helped the player get up and apologised. Rezende FC's Lauro Vander was substituted for Afonsinho Tasso. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tapiramuta FC! Eduardo Prado shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After 45 minutes, Şentürk Sati made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Rezende FC's Reynaldo das Neves tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernandinho Furtado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Renatinho Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo das Neves having to interfere. In the 53rd minute, Bernardinho Cardoso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rezende FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The supporters of Tapiramuta FC booed when Rezende FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardinho Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rezende FC's Reynaldo das Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şentürk Sati in the 67th minute of play. Reynaldo das Neves had great luck who in the 67thth minute grab hold of the ball when Şentürk Sati from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When Rezende FC's Bernardinho Cardoso in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tapiramuta FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 82nd minute Lauro Vander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Luis Heidemann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Luis Heidemann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ediberto Linares in the 85th minute of play. José Luis Heidemann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ediberto Linares, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. José Luis Heidemann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauro Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Fernando Mazza kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
