Enrique Leite started the match with the kick off. Juan Carlos Olave made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Leite in the 3rd minute of play. Er Håland blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan Carlos Olave having to make a save. Atibaia Raiders's Juan Carlos Olave proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Atibaia Raiders from getting a goal against them. Ivo Cunha hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, Atibaia Raiders's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Leite came free, but Juan Carlos Olave reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matias Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tarcisio Neves in the 13th minute of play. Richard Chotard kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Matias Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tarcisio Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Er Håland in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Carlos Olave saved Atibaia Raiders from getting behind. Valdir de Amorim's late challenge caught a Atibaia Raiders's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valdir de Amorim helped the player get up and apologised. Valdir de Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Matias Taffarel came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Atibaia Raiders's Tarcisio Neves. But to his dismay, Tarcisio Neves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Matias Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Túlio Maravilha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 played minutes TaTeRo Boys got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Oliveira. Er Håland who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Juan Carlos Olave when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Matias Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Túlio Maravilha in the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Túlio Maravilha in the 45th minute of play forced TaTeRo Boys's goalkeeper Matias Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Túlio Maravilha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juan Carlos Olave made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Er Håland in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdir de Amorim in the 57th minute of play forced Atibaia Raiders's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Olave to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute TaTeRo Boys were awarded a corner. Raul Seixas went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on TaTeRo Boys's corner Raul Seixas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Juan Carlos Olave quite easily take care of the ball. When Masao Tachibana fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TaTeRo Boys's protests and gave Masao Tachibana a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th minute, Masao Tachibana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 69 played minutes TaTeRo Boys got a freekick which was hit by Masao Tachibana. Túlio Maravilha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Endrik Halland in the 73rd minute of play forced Atibaia Raiders's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Olave to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matias Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Túlio Maravilha in the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Túlio Maravilha in the 77th minute of play forced TaTeRo Boys's goalkeeper Matias Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute Frederico Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Carlos Olave saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 minutes, Diego Arantes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atibaia Raiders and the TaTeRo Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd match minute, Atibaia Raiders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Arantes to maneuver through the defense. After 85 played minutes TaTeRo Boys got a freekick which was hit by Masao Tachibana. Matias Taffarel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Túlio Maravilha in the 90th minute. Juan Carlos Olave took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederico Lago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 91 played minutes TaTeRo Boys got a freekick which was hit by Masao Tachibana. Atibaia Raiders made a substitution. Rivaldo Marquez replaced Tarcisio Neves. Masao Tachibana hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Matias Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rivaldo Marquez in the 94th minute of play. Matias Taffarel made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Túlio Maravilha sent off a good shot on target. Juan Carlos Olave showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico Lago, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The audience was convinced that Endrik Halland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Carlos Olave was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. TaTeRo Boys were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Atibaia Raiders for a fine match.
