In the 7th minute, Humberto Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sidnei Vidal made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Hugo Chaves sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th match minute, Sailor FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natã Rezende to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Sailor FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Chaves came free, but Sidnei Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Chaves got free with Sidnei Vidal in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mariano Berenguer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Jardel Arantes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sailor FC's Natã Rezende got his second yellow card of the match in the 26th minute. The referee ordered Natã Rezende off the ground. In the 27th minute, Natã Rezende hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sailor FC's Sidnei Vidal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Sailor FC from getting a goal against them. Pio Ohling hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Mariano Berenguer took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jardel Arantes. Jardel Arantes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Edmundo da Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Sailor FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Tomás Barral hit a great ball. Sailor FC's Edmundo da Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 48th minute Hugo Chaves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidnei Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

52 minutes into the match, Moema EC's goalkeeper Jardel Arantes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomás Barral. Waldir Mineiro's late challenge caught a Sailor FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Waldir Mineiro helped the player get up and apologised. Moema EC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Edmundo da Costa 58 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. Tomás Barral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Jardel Arantes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sailor FC's Sidnei Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldir Mineiro in the 67th minute of play. Mariano Berenguer's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jardel Arantes firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 68 played minutes Mariano Berenguer rounded Moema EC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. Jardel Arantes made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Mariano Berenguer sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the match, Mariano Berenguer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jardel Arantes, 0-4. When Tomás Barral came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Sailor FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Barral couldn't finish the play. Jardel Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Barral in the 88th minute of play. When the match was over Sailor FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Moema EC throughout the match.
