A collision led to LOBO 1908 getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Dário Toscano hit a great ball. When La Società Sport Osasco's Luiz Leo in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LOBO 1908's goalie prevented a goal. 11 minutes into the match, LOBO 1908's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Quirino came free, but Chiquinho Aparecido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. LOBO 1908's Chiquinho Aparecido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save LOBO 1908 from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute Paulão Bezerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubinho Lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rubinho Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jurgen Iwens in the 31st minute of play. Rubinho Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulão Bezerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Chiquinho Aparecido made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Luiz Leo sent off a good shot on target. LOBO 1908's Nikolai Bondum was substituted for Paulão Bezerra. After 48 played minutes LOBO 1908 got a freekick which was hit by Gernando Matos. When Gernando Matos got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for LOBO 1908. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Rubinho Lago made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeremias Tande in the 52nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Alberto Sá got free with Rubinho Lago in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th match minute, LOBO 1908 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jurgen Iwens to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Leo in the 57th minute of play forced LOBO 1908's goalkeeper Chiquinho Aparecido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zygmunt Haszczak made in the 63rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which CJ Lewandowski however managed to control. 65 minutes into the match, La Società Sport Osasco's goalkeeper Rubinho Lago had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernani Montenegro. Luiz Leo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chiquinho Aparecido read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. La Società Sport Osasco's Ferenc Puskás was substituted for Bruno Quirino. La Società Sport Osasco's Gilvan Maranhense was substituted for Luiz Leo. In the 79th minute, CJ Lewandowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chiquinho Aparecido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilvan Maranhense in the 82nd minute of play. Rubinho Lago made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Ernani Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. 84 minutes into the game, Ernani Montenegro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rubinho Lago. Ernani Montenegro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Jurgen Iwens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubinho Lago having to interfere. The LOBO 1908 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing LOBO 1908 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
