After some careless play in the Agro Imortal defense, Patrick Neiva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Pereira. The Agro Imortal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Pereira should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrick Neiva in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Pereira saved Agro Imortal from getting behind. The Xapetuba Futebol Clube fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Patrick Neiva looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The throw-in from Marcelo Coutinho in the 22nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Agro Imortal's 倪川榕. Narciso Bertassi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Célio do Valle made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Delfim da Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Agro Imortal's supporters rose to their feet, but Delfim da Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Célio do Valle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 39 played minutes Agro Imortal got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Naldo. In the 40th minute, Patrick Neiva made a precise shot to the right of David Pereira. Agro Imortal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. In the 43rd minute Delfim da Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Célio do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Célio do Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delfim da Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patrick Neiva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Flávio Matos got a free kick in the 51st minute. The supporters of Xapetuba Futebol Clube booed when Agro Imortal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Algren didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Flávio Matos from long distance, 59 minutes into the match, got David Pereira's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrick Neiva in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Pereira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 64th minute, Flávio Matos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Pereira was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Laerte Ramalho was substituted for Patrick Neiva. Célio do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delfim da Costa in the 70th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Marcelo Coutinho got a free kick in the 71st minute. Narciso Bertassi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Bertassi in the 76th minute of play forced Xapetuba Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Célio do Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Célio do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Bertassi, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After some careless play in the Agro Imortal defense, Laerte Ramalho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Pereira. The Agro Imortal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Pereira should have stopped the shot. Agro Imortal's Delfim da Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Laerte Ramalho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of David Pereira. That made the score 1-7 after 84 minutes of play. Narciso Bertassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Célio do Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laerte Ramalho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of David Pereira when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
