Spectators: 7946 (Terracing: 5960, Seating: 1828, VIP seats: 158) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tato Vega made the kick off which started today's match. Márcio Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lionel Mesías, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ricardo Leite fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curucamba's protests and gave Ricardo Leite a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes Curucamba got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Leite. Lionel Mesías recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tato Vega took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Márcio Mazza. Márcio Mazza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gualterio Tavio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guto Brandao in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute, Tato Vega ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Márcio Mazza was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 16th minute Albertinho Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Márcio Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Márcio Mazza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lionel Mesías's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Curucamba's goal looked a bit too open when Tato Vega came free, but Márcio Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Bigode Grosso's Lionel Mesías in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Curucamba's goalie prevented a goal. Kléberson França hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Márcio Mazza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tato Vega went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lando Norin in the 29th minute of play forced Curucamba's goalkeeper Márcio Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 0-5 became the score in the 35th minute when Lionel Mesías elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 41 minutes into the game, Bigode Grosso's Lionel Mesías nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Márcio Mazza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tato Vega in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Márcio Mazza prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guto Brandao was the one to do the kick off. If Lando Norin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Lionel Mesías ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Márcio Mazza was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Lionel Mesíass short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Márcio Mazza to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 64 minutes of play, Bigode Grosso's Tato Vega made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Márcio Mazza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tato Vega had several of the Curucamba's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 68 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-9 score and a disappointed Márcio Mazza as he didn't even see the shot coming. 72 minutes into the game, Bigode Grosso's Lionel Mesías nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Márcio Mazza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. Lionel Mesías's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Márcio Mazza firmly grabbed it by the left post. Márcio Mazza was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lionel Mesías showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-11 in the 79 minute of play. Bigode Grosso made a substitution. Ronaldo Wu replaced Tato Vega. Márcio Mazza was a little too slow when Lando Norin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 0-12. Bigode Grosso's Ronaldo Wu got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ronaldo Wu might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Márcio Mazza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronaldo Wu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 94th minute Ronaldo Wu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Márcio Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Bigode Grosso could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Curucamba throughout the match.
