The referee gave POPULAR F.C a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gilson Cordeiro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Capivariano F.C.'s Silvinho Veiga. 0-1. In the 30th match minute, Capivariano F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomás Trigo to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Zmărăndescu kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After 37 minutes of play, POPULAR F.C's Valdomiro Dionísio made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvinho Veiga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Manuel Zmărăndescu's late challenge caught a POPULAR F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain.
