Ernesto Obeko came out of the goal and Leonides Sandaili tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernesto Obeko was a little too slow when Segundo James got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-0. After 25 minutes of play, Trompul's Urbano Peru made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donato Chayo was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Deportivo Cavernas's Leonides Sandaili in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Segundo James might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernesto Obeko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Segundo James ran back to his position shaking his head. After 73 played minutes Trompul got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Opilano. Urbano Peru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernesto Obeko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. There was no doubt that Deportivo Cavernas were the better team. Deportivo Cavernas's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
