Victor Bastiaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Froilan Orlanda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Taurino having to interfere. Geronimo Taurino made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Horacio Galsino sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, La Plata FC's Geronimo Taurino got control of the ball when Horacio Galsino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Froilan Orlanda struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Geronimo Taurino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vistalba. Pascual Nesto kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After 35 played minutes, La Plata FC's Teobaldo Kepa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Herminio Urtsin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La Plata FC reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Luciano Rios managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vistalba's supporters rose to their feet, but Luciano Rios was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geronimo Taurino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. La Plata FC's Geronimo Taurino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Orlanda in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, La Plata FC's goalkeeper Geronimo Taurino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horacio Galsino. In the 42nd minute, Froilan Orlanda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Froilan Orlanda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Geronimo Taurino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

After some careless play in the La Plata FC defense, Horacio Galsino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geronimo Taurino. The La Plata FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geronimo Taurino should have stopped the shot. Horacio Galsino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Geronimo Taurino having to make a save. After 62 played minutes La Plata FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Urtun. When Horacio Galsino came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Vistalba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horacio Galsino couldn't finish the play. Tiburcio Ospin took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geronimo Taurino. Geronimo Taurino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Froilan Orlanda hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, Paulino Bras fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Herminio Urtsin, passed just outside the right post. 73 minutes into the match, La Plata FC's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Galsino came free, but Geronimo Taurino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Froilan Orlanda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Geronimo Taurino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Horacio Galsino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Geronimo Taurino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Vistalba's Horacio Galsino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geronimo Taurino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Orlanda in the 91st minute of play forced La Plata FC's goalkeeper Geronimo Taurino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, La Plata FC's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Galsino came free, but Geronimo Taurino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Vistalba were the better team. Vistalba's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
