Bernardo Papo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alvaro Iraido having to make a save. If Saul Olayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 9 played minutes Semillero del mundo got a freekick which was hit by Juan Ourente. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Semillero del mundo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Roberto Llanos was slow to take the kick. During this time Reconquista AFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Reconquista AFC's Roberto Llanos to fire away a dangerous shot which Alvaro Iraido despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 30 played minutes Semillero del mundo got a freekick which was hit by Juan Ourente. After having played for 31 minutes, Baldomiro Froila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reconquista AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomiro Froila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Reconquista AFC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Saul Olayo hit a great ball. Reconquista AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Edgardo Paul 42 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Edgardo Paul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernardo Papo made a kick off. Bernardo Papo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Alvaro Iraido made a huge save. Juan Ourente kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Bernardo Papo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Alvaro Iraido skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bernardo Papo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Baldomiro Froila came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Reconquista AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomiro Froila couldn't finish the play. Juan Ourente kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After having played for 59 minutes, Baldomiro Froila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reconquista AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomiro Froila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Semillero del mundo's goalkeeper Alvaro Iraido, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 64 played minutes Reconquista AFC got a freekick which was hit by Saul Olayo. Reconquista AFC's Vinicio Orlanda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Vincente in the 65th minute of play. Alvaro Iraido was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Roberto Llanos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Roberto Llanos really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. In the 78th minute, Alfonso Tana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baldomiro Froila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Alvaro Iraido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvaro Iraido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardo Papo in the 82nd minute. When Edgardo Paul fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Semillero del mundo's protests and gave Edgardo Paul a yellow card for diving instead. 86 minutes into the match, Semillero del mundo's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Froila came free, but Alvaro Iraido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baldomiro Froila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reconquista AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
