Eulalio Marcones struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Godfredo Lugo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Libertarios Universals. Godfredo Lugo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Guilabertus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Eloy Gaufred had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Demesio. Libertarios Universals's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eloy Gaufred was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Libertarios Universals's zone, Filomeno Giraldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Demesio came out of the goal and Filomeno Giraldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juan Quilo struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Godfredo Lugo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Libertarios Universals. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Libertarios Universals's goalkeeper Pedro Demesio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Libertarios Universals's Eulalio Marcones got a free kick in the 24th minute. Juan Quilo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Godfredo Lugo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Libertarios Universals booed when Millonario F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. When Ciriaco Resto fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Libertarios Universals's protests and gave Ciriaco Resto a yellow card for diving instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell German Tolino to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Eugenio Lluc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Libertarios Universals's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugenio Lluc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eulalio Marcones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Lugo having to interfere. Libertarios Universals's Juan Quilo got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Godfredo Lugo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Guilabertus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th match minute, Millonario F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Pio to maneuver through the defense. Juan Quilo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Isidro Guilabertus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th match minute, Millonario F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Natanael to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Millonario F.C defense, Eulalio Marcones kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Godfredo Lugo. The Millonario F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Godfredo Lugo should have stopped the shot. Eloy Gaufred struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Pedro Demesio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Millonario F.C. When the referee ended the match the Libertarios Universals players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
