Malanzán FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmiro Tulio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ovidio Irrintzi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Humberto Vimaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albano Favila having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Rogelio Rocio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Albano Favila when he managed to save the team from getting behind. LeOn L.P F.C's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
