Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abelardo Weather in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aaron Tabby prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Salvador Haritz struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Cesar Fonso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Albariño FC. Prudencio Sidoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ceferino Txindoki came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Albariño FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ceferino Txindoki couldn't finish the play. Cesar Fonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Txindoki in the 32nd minute of the match. If Hermengildo Cordara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Clemente Buinton hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Salvador Haritz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ceferino Txindoki might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cesar Fonso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ceferino Txindoki ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Abelardo Weather made the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute, Abelardo Weather got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cesar Fonso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ceferino Txindoki's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Aaron Tabby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Cordara, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Salvador Haritz got free with Cesar Fonso in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cesar Fonso made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Salvador Haritz sent off a good shot on target. When Hermengildo Cordara came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Morenillo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermengildo Cordara couldn't finish the play. 79 minutes into the match, Hermengildo Cordara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aaron Tabby. Albariño FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hermengildo Cordara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 86th minute, Abelardo Weather got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
