Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Cerrito AFC's Angelo Shepherd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Pabla in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute there was a penalty for Matuka. Agustin Montes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Angelo Shepherd. 1-0. Angelo Shepherd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Pabla in the 15th minute of play. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Matuka's goalkeeper Dante Mirande, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Dionisio Serafo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Matuka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Casimiro Pabla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Dionisio Serafo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th minute of the match, Casimiro Pabla tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Angelo Shepherd saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the last second Angelo Shepherd throw himself and got hold of the ball when Casimiro Pabla in the 41stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Blas Onbera hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. If Casimiro Pabla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santiago Barrionuevo to strike the kick off in the second half. Angelo Shepherd came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Matuka's Casimiro Pabla. But to his dismay, Casimiro Pabla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 59th minute Casimiro Pabla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Shepherd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute of the match Matuka got a corner. Cerrito AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Agustin Montes ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Matuka's corner Agustin Montes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Angelo Shepherd quite easily take care of the ball. After having played for 63 minutes, Dionisio Serafo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matuka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dionisio Serafo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. But to his dismay, Dionisio Serafo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Benjamin Rosalio's late challenge caught a Matuka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamin Rosalio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th match minute, Cerrito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Rosalio to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Casimiro Pabla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelo Shepherd was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Matuka had played much better football throughout.
