In the 16th minute Domingo Jaizki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Eutor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Domingo Jaizki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ceferino Eutor. VITESSE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Domingo Jaizki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 24th match minute, Acebal AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipolito Oso to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Jonas Lluterio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Acebal AFC's Baldomero Matai didn't even have to move. If Domingo Jaizki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 31st minute Artemio Salvidor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Eutor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Salvidor in the 35th minute of play forced VITESSE's goalkeeper Ceferino Eutor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Domingo Jaizki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Eutor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Florentino Orlondo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VITESSE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Acebal AFC the free kick. Baldomero Matai dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Artemio Salvidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domingo Jaizki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ceferino Eutor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Artemio Salvidor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53rd play minutes Artemio Salvidor shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Ceferino Eutor and just under the crossbar into goal. Ceferino Eutor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Salvidor in the 58th minute of the match. Artemio Salvidor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Ceferino Eutor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Artemio Salvidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 65 minutes of play, Acebal AFC's Domingo Jaizki made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ceferino Eutor was left in no man's land by his defense there! Domingo Jaizki in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ceferino Eutor, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 72 minutes in the game, Artemio Salvidor fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ceferino Eutor having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, VITESSE's goalkeeper Ceferino Eutor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domingo Jaizki. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domingo Jaizki got free with Ceferino Eutor in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ceferino Eutor made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Domingo Jaizki sent off a good shot on target. When Artemio Salvidor in the 85th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Ceferino Eutor kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-4 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Domingo Jaizki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domingo Jaizki's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ceferino Eutor firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the final whistle sounded Acebal AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than VITESSE.
