Melquiades Henric could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Gerardo Errolan made a huge save. Melquiades Henric fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Errolan having to interfere. Gerardo Errolan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Larra, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Melquiades Henric sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Dennehy AFC's Armando Larra ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gerardo Errolan. Gerardo Errolan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Freddy Txaran hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Igor Ilazki hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the game, Dennehy AFC's Melquiades Henric nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerardo Errolan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Dennehy AFC's zone, Cristo Argi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafin Gustau came out of the goal and Cristo Argi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristo Argi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Serafin Gustau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristo Argi was the one to do the kick off. Enzo Ponciano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Icaño AFC's Enzo Ponciano in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dennehy AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Serafin Gustau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Argi in the 65th minute of the match. Gerardo Errolan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melquiades Henric, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, Icaño AFC's Freddy Txaran got a free kick in the 68th minute. Icaño AFC's Gerardo Errolan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Larra in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Argi in the 77th minute of play forced Dennehy AFC's goalkeeper Serafin Gustau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Icaño AFC's Gerardo Errolan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Larra in the 78th minute of play. A hard shot 80 in the game by Enzo Ponciano from a close distance when the talented Serafin Gustau managed to make a qualified save. Dennehy AFC's players were relieved. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Icaño AFC's goalkeeper Gerardo Errolan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Melquiades Henric fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Errolan having to interfere. If Armando Larra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dennehy AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Icaño AFC for a fine match.
