The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerardo Ler in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Prudencio Osasun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anacleto Piarres kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Orlando Oxarra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Prudencio Osasun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Ler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Anacleto Piarres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natalio Dimo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luis Herauso. Pourtalé AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 22 played minutes Pourtalé AFC got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Piarres. After a rather tough play, Pourtalé AFC's Isaias Jaunti got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After recieving a nice pass, RENGUEROS's Natalio Dimo tried to score from far away in the 24th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Prudencio Osasun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerardo Ler went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Luis Herauso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Oxarra in the 32nd minute. In the 39th match minute, RENGUEROS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Vito to maneuver through the defense. If Gerardo Ler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Rosendo Filipo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

RENGUEROS's Prudencio Osasun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Filipo in the 56th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Rosendo Filipo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Prudencio Osasun was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Horacio Balasi hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Prudencio Osasun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Ler, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute of the match, Rosendo Filipo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Prudencio Osasun saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Pourtalé AFC's Rosendo Filipo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 75th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. A hard shot by Vinicio Liher from long distance, 82 minutes into the match, got Prudencio Osasun's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 84th minute Rosendo Filipo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 90th minute of the match Anacleto Piarres completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Anacleto Piarres a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 90th minute, Anacleto Piarres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gerardo Ler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, RENGUEROS's Prudencio Osasun got control of the ball when Gerardo Ler tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pourtalé AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
