Paulo Beltxe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Lucio Gaskon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesus Eskuin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Paulo Beltxe made a huge save. Paulo Beltxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Sazon in the 22nd minute of play. Club Saenz Peña's Paulo Beltxe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Club Saenz Peña from getting a goal against them. Paulo Beltxe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jesus Eskuin in the 26th minute. Paulo Beltxe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Nerio in the 31st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Melquiades Cedro in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucio Ibon saved Amelie FC from getting behind. Jimeno Garoa took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucio Ibon. Lucio Ibon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Melquiades Cedro made the kick off in the second half. Jimeno Garoa's late challenge caught a Amelie FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimeno Garoa helped the player get up and apologised. Jimeno Garoa hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the game, Benedicto Loiola was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amelie FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Saenz Peña the free kick. In the 55th minute, Benedicto Loiola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute, Jimeno Garoa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Saenz Peña fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Lucio Ibon made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Jimeno Garoa sent off a good shot on target. Eustacio Tino might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucio Ibon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eustacio Tino ran back to his position shaking his head. Lucio Gaskon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Paulo Beltxe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Lucio Gaskon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo Beltxe. Club Saenz Peña's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucio Gaskon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Lucio Ibon was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Agustin Lia. Melquiades Cedro struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Lucio Ibon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Saenz Peña. Melquiades Cedro might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucio Ibon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Melquiades Cedro ran back to his position shaking his head. 89 minutes into the match, Amelie FC's goalkeeper Lucio Ibon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Melquiades Cedro. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severiano Eguerdi during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Lucio Gaskon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
