In the 15th match minute, TANGO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Cilio to maneuver through the defense. When Club A. In the 36th minute of the match Saul Cilio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cornelio Millrick skillfully saved the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Anselmo Abancens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Cornelio Millrick was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Niceto Millan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 46 minutes, Zacarias Chus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TANGO FC and the Club A. Independiente players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to TANGO FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Zacarias Chus hit a great ball. Gavino Lucila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelo Abecia to make the kick off. The supporters of TANGO FC booed when Club A. Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Jerardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niceto Millan took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Braulio Satordi. Braulio Satordi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 63 played minutes Club A. Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Santo Celino. After a defensive mix-up in Club A. Independiente's zone, Anselmo Abancens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cornelio Millrick came out of the goal and Anselmo Abancens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. TANGO FC's Angelo Abecia got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the game, Club A. Independiente's Niceto Millan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Braulio Satordi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Angelo Abecia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cornelio Millrick read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Cornelio Millrick successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A hard shot 90 in the game by Anselmo Abancens from a close distance when the talented Cornelio Millrick managed to make a qualified save. Club A. Independiente's players were relieved. Saul Cilio hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. TANGO FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
