Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes into the game, Jacobo Rioja cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Cornelio Millrick was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 38th minute Jacobo Rioja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Millrick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Primitivo Sergi kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Old Etonians F.C's Leo Sol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Millan in the 53rd minute of play. Old Etonians F.C's Ismael Baristo got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cornelio Millrick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Rioja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cornelio Millrick made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ismael Baristo in the 62nd minute. Club A. Independiente's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Ismael Baristo scored to the left of an out of position Cornelio Millrick, making the score, 1-2. Ismael Baristo struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Cornelio Millrick didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Old Etonians F.C. In the 79th minute, Ismael Baristo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of Old Etonians F.C booed when Club A. Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Jerardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ismael Baristo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Cornelio Millrick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ismael Baristo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Old Etonians F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Old Etonians F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
