In the 6th match minute, Taladro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Ospin to maneuver through the defense. Pascual Telo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristo Tebaldo. Taladro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cristo Tebaldo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luisito Olando went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Dolores's zone, Geronimo Jobo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Firme came out of the goal and Geronimo Jobo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Francisco Firme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Unai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guido Unai was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 26th minute. Taladro's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Dolores's Francisco Firme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Jobo in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute Guido Unai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Firme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Firme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Unai in the 34th minute of the match. If Geronimo Jobo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Geronimo Jobo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Guido Unai came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Taladro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guido Unai couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eusebio Seguinus to strike the kick off in the second half. Francisco Firme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Unai, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 67 minutes into the game, Teofilo Godoy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Taladro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dolores the free kick. After a rather tough play, Taladro's Teofilo Godoy got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 74th minute, Matias Matai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geronimo Jobo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Firme having to interfere. Francisco Firme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Unai in the 80th minute of play. When Luisito Olando came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Dolores fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisito Olando couldn't finish the play. Geronimo Jobo struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Francisco Firme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taladro. Francisco Firme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geronimo Jobo in the 86th minute of the match. Francisco Firme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guido Unai went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Francisco Firme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geronimo Jobo's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. The Dolores players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
