Cristo Goyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Demesio in the 14th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Carmen FC's Melchor Semeno got a free kick in the 16th minute. Rigoberto Demesio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Carmen FC's goalkeeper Epifanio Ubelteso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jairo Piorno. Abel Etxepare kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Epifanio Ubelteso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Estevez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Enrique Estevez came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the trinidad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique Estevez couldn't finish the play. After the first half Carmen FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rigoberto Demesio made a kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Demesio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carmen FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave trinidad the free kick. After 57 played minutes Carmen FC got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Demesio. After a defensive mix-up in trinidad's zone, Urbano Eleder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristo Goyo came out of the goal and Urbano Eleder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Carmen FC's Rigoberto Demesio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristo Goyo. That made the score 0-2 after 67 minutes of play. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Urbano Eleder got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rigoberto Demesio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristo Goyo having to interfere. After 75 minutes, Robustiano Estavan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the trinidad and the Carmen FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Robustiano Estavan hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Urbano Eleder could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Cristo Goyo however easily saved by the left post. In the 77th match minute, trinidad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Rafe to maneuver through the defense. Rigoberto Demesio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristo Goyo having to interfere. With his leg Cristo Goyo managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Carmen FC's Urbano Eleder fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cristo Goyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Demesio, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After 86 minutes of play trinidad's Eustacio Rafe was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, trinidad's Eustacio Rafe got a free kick in the 87th minute. Saul Gurutz, 88 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Urbano Eleder in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cristo Goyo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Demesio in the 94th minute of play forced trinidad's goalkeeper Cristo Goyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
