Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Guardamonte's Genaro Eguerdi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Samuel Dalmu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Eguerdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 minutes, Baldomero Ortle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pool and the Guardamonte players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Guardamonte booed when Pool was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Ortle didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Pool's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Sesuldo came free, but Samuel Dalmu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 minutes of play, Guardamonte's Carolo Papo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Dalmu was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Iker Hotz came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Pool fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iker Hotz couldn't finish the play. Genaro Eguerdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 37 played minutes Pool got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Baraquiel. 38 minutes into the match, Guardamonte's Genaro Eguerdi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuel Dalmu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carolo Papo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Pool's Gerardo Marcones got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Genaro Eguerdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iker Hotz to strike the kick off in the second half. Genaro Eguerdi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcial Errolan hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. If Marcial Errolan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Dalmu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carolo Papo in the 70th minute. Pool's Iker Hotz got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 73 played minutes Pool got a freekick which was hit by Baldomero Ortle. If Carolo Papo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Dalmu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genaro Eguerdi in the 79th minute of the match. Samuel Dalmu was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Genaro Eguerdi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Genaro Eguerdi really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Samuel Dalmu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carolo Papo in the 83rd minute. After having played for 84 minutes, Higinio Baraquiel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pool's supporters crossed their fingers, but Higinio Baraquiel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Iker Hotz came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Pool fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iker Hotz couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute, Higinio Baraquiel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Higinio Baraquiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Clemente Savion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iker Hotz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guardamonte were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Pool's much stronger midfield.
