After having played for 20 minutes, Celso Viviano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Asterisco Cósmico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celso Viviano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peronia Fútbol Club's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Celso Viviano 22 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Diego Tauro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Viviano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Celso Viviano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diego Tauro was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugo Llorienzo during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Peronia Fútbol Club booed when Asterisco Cósmico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Llorienzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Peronia Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Diego Tauro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filomeno Ritchie. Filomeno Ritchie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diego Tauro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. If Celso Viviano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Gumaro to make the kick off. Peronia Fútbol Club's Diego Tauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Viviano in the 58th minute of play. A hard shot 61 in the game by Aurelio Mel from a close distance when the talented Igor Salvino managed to make a qualified save. Asterisco Cósmico's players were relieved. Celso Viviano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diego Tauro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Asterisco Cósmico's Igor Salvino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Asterisco Cósmico from getting a goal against them. Diego Tauro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celso Viviano's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Aurelio Mel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
