When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Constantino Mannie took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Pascual Ruisko to make any attempt to save it. 19 minutes into the match, Minacar's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Calvino came free, but Amadeo Isauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 21 minutes, Ruben Quinto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minacar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruben Quinto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgard Figueroa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Ruisko having to interfere. Alvaro Dolcet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Pascual Ruisko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alonzo Leoiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Alvaro Dolcet came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Minacar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvaro Dolcet couldn't finish the play. After 42 minutes of play, Juan Manuel de Rosas's Dalmacio Fe made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amadeo Isauro was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eusebio Brion stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Juan Manuel de Rosas booed when Minacar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Lobo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ruben Quinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eusebio Brion's late challenge caught a Minacar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eusebio Brion helped the player get up and apologised. After 58 played minutes Juan Manuel de Rosas got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Brion. In the 62nd minute, Constantino Mannie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ruben Quinto came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Minacar fans jumped to their feet.
