Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Silvio Liberto took the kick off in the first half of the match. Hipolito Ubelteso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Hipolito Ubelteso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teo Inautzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Eli having to interfere. In the 16th minute Pastor Ubelteso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Hondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Cieneguita defense, Silvio Liberto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severino Hondo. The Cieneguita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severino Hondo should have stopped the shot. Benedicto Eli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Inautzi in the 32nd minute of play. After having played for 34 minutes, Teo Inautzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cieneguita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teo Inautzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benedicto Eli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hipolito Ubelteso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 38 minutes, Hipolito Ubelteso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cieneguita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hipolito Ubelteso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lafontaine FC's Benedicto Eli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Lafontaine FC from getting a goal against them. If Robustiano Todor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robustiano Todor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Benedicto Eli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Teo Inautzi made the kick off in the second half. Hipolito Ubelteso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benedicto Eli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Severino Hondo was a little too slow when Pastor Ubelteso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-2. After a rather tough play, Lafontaine FC's Romulo Isadore got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute, Robustiano Todor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 65 minutes, Teo Inautzi made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Lafontaine FC's Benedicto Eli tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 71 minutes into the match, Teo Inautzi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benedicto Eli. Lafontaine FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teo Inautzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. If Robustiano Todor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedicto Eli came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Cieneguita's Hipolito Ubelteso. But to his dismay, Hipolito Ubelteso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipolito Ubelteso in the 80th minute of play forced Lafontaine FC's goalkeeper Benedicto Eli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Teo Inautzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benedicto Eli was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Silvio Liberto hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. When Basilio Mergildo came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Cieneguita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basilio Mergildo couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the match, Basilio Mergildo notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Lafontaine FC's Benedicto Eli. Benedicto Eli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cieneguita's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
