Ruben Cordario came out of the goal and Robustiano Nayely tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Paz in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruben Cordario saved Manzano FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Nayely in the 32nd minute of play forced Manzano FC's goalkeeper Ruben Cordario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee ignored Manzano FC's protests and gave Melchor Servando a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes Manzano FC got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Servando. Robustiano Nayely took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruben Cordario. Ruben Cordario dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulo Paz was the one to do the kick off. When Fabricio Nafarroa came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Manzano FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabricio Nafarroa couldn't finish the play. Melchor Servando was shown his second yellow card after 60 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Manzano FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Melchor Servando hit a great ball. Manzano FC's Ruben Cordario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Paz in the 63rd minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Captain Tsubasa's Paulo Paz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruben Cordario narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paulo Paz struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Ruben Cordario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Captain Tsubasa. Ruben Cordario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Paz in the 73rd minute of play. Robustiano Nayely could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Ruben Cordario made a huge save. 81 minutes into the match, Captain Tsubasa's Robustiano Nayely sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruben Cordario narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Robustiano Nayely left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Captain Tsubasa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 91st minute Paulo Paz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Cordario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Manzano FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Captain Tsubasa's performance. The match ended with a win for Captain Tsubasa.
