Victoriano Arena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Nuñez to maneuver through the defense. After 17 played minutes Jumeal AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dario Evangelista. If Tobias Nuñez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jimeno Hats came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Club A. Victoriano Arena's Jeremias Mazuste. But to his dismay, Jeremias Mazuste quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jeremias Mazuste received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Jimeno Hats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tobias Nuñez in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jimeno Hats saved Jumeal AFC from getting behind. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jumeal AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leon Maidana was slow to take the kick. During this time Club A. Victoriano Arena's players had a chance to rest. Isidoro Felo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wieslaw Rybak in the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Lucas Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Federico Chap struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Isidoro Felo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jumeal AFC. Jimeno Hats didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tobias Nuñez went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Federico Chap's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Isidoro Felo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Federico Chap to make the kick off. Isidoro Felo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wieslaw Rybak in the 52nd minute of play. Club A.
