Lino Nuno's late challenge caught a Carmen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lino Nuno helped the player get up and apologised. In the 2nd minute, Lino Nuno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atilano Boni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in LAGUNEROS's zone, Gustavo Cesario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Eneto came out of the goal and Gustavo Cesario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacinto Eneto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Atilano Boni went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, LAGUNEROS's Flavio Galeno got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 11th minute Luisito Obeko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Joseph saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 13 minutes, Albino Indalecio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carmen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albino Indalecio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Gustavo Cesario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacinto Eneto was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. After 16 played minutes LAGUNEROS got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Obeko. After a rather tough play, LAGUNEROS's Venancio Fernanco got a free kick in the 24th minute. Jacinto Eneto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Boni in the 35th minute of play. Gustavo Cesario took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacinto Eneto. Jacinto Eneto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 40th match minute, LAGUNEROS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Galeno to maneuver through the defense. The LAGUNEROS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Carmen were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aquiles Astudillo to make the kick off. Carmen's Atilano Boni managed to work through LAGUNEROS's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Atilano Boni dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After 55 played minutes Carmen got a freekick which was hit by Albino Indalecio. Gustavo Cesario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Eneto having to interfere. Luisito Obeko kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Jacinto Eneto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilano Boni in the 62nd minute of the match. If Atilano Boni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Atilano Boni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Atilano Boni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacinto Eneto was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Boni in the 80th minute of play forced LAGUNEROS's goalkeeper Jacinto Eneto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacinto Eneto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Boni, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Fermin Joseph made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Aires in the 89th minute of play. In the 94thth minute of the game Atilano Boni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LAGUNEROS's Jacinto Eneto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Carmen walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
