When Richard McQuire came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Nairn AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Richard McQuire couldn't finish the play. Kenneth Dowe made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Lee Hutchison sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard McQuire in the 11th minute of play forced Leviathans's goalkeeper Tobiasz Kempka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobiasz Kempka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sean Blake in the 12th minute of play. After 14th play minutes Sean Blake shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Tobiasz Kempka and just under the crossbar into goal. Leviathans's Tobiasz Kempka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sean Blake in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Archie Coulter in the 22nd minute of play forced Leviathans's goalkeeper Tobiasz Kempka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Ronaldo in the 23rd minute of play forced Nairn AFC's goalkeeper Kenneth Dowe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Lertxun's late challenge caught a Nairn AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Lertxun helped the player get up and apologised. Edmond Connall, 33 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Tobiasz Kempka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sean Blake in the 35th minute of the match. A collision led to Leviathans getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Jake Ainslie hit a great ball. Tobiasz Kempka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard McQuire in the 36th minute of play. Tobiasz Kempka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard McQuire in the 43rd minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lee Hutchison stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Archie Coulter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Tobiasz Kempka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Jamie McIlvrae left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leviathans fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 66 minutes into the match, Leviathans's goalkeeper Tobiasz Kempka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sean Blake. The supporters of Leviathans booed when Nairn AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Archie Coulter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jake Ainslie charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jake Ainslie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tobiasz Kempka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard McQuire in the 76th minute of play. When Archie Coulter fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nairn AFC's protests and gave Archie Coulter a yellow card for diving instead. After 78 played minutes Nairn AFC got a freekick which was hit by Archie Coulter. In the 95th match minute, Nairn AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Archie Coulter to maneuver through the defense. Nairn AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
