Paulino Team's Diamantino Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Meira in the 28th minute of play. If Cândido Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Belo having to interfere. Joaquim Oliveira was extremely unlucky when he, in the 34th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Cândido Luz came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Paulino Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cândido Luz couldn't finish the play. Joaquim Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

David Belo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cândido Luz in the 51st minute of play. David Belo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cândido Luz's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Joaquim Oliveira took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Belo. David Belo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Rui Estrada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino Castro having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Joaquim Oliveira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Belo. Sameirix's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquim Oliveira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Paulino Team had played much better football throughout.
