Spectators: 6641 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rodrigo Sousa started the match with the kick off. Hugo Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Sousa in the 7th minute of play. When Tomás Costa came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the SC Sambado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Costa couldn't finish the play. Filipe Coelho had great luck who in the 19thth minute grab hold of the ball when Tomás Costa from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Jorge Ramos hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lebres's zone, Tomás Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filipe Coelho came out of the goal and Tomás Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredo Delgado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filipe Coelho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Sousa in the 31st minute of play forced SC Sambado's goalkeeper Hugo Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Lebres's Jorge Ramos got a free kick in the 34th minute. Lebres's Filipe Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Costa in the 38th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo Sousa in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Veiga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lebres's Filipe Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Costa in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Tomás Costa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filipe Coelho. Lebres's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomás Costa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomás Costa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fernando Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Hugo Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Cruz struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Hugo Veiga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lebres. In the 57th minute, Álvaro Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in SC Sambado's zone, Rui Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Veiga came out of the goal and Rui Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodrigo Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, SC Sambado's Álvaro Campos got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 66 minutes into the game, Rui Santos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lebres's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Sambado the free kick. After 66 played minutes Lebres got a freekick which was hit by Rui Santos. If Alfredo Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Nuno Alves, 72 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Costa in the 73rd minute of play forced Lebres's goalkeeper Filipe Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Fernando Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henrique Coimbra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hugo Veiga. SC Sambado's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, Lebres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. A hard and well directed shot from Nuno Alves led 83 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Lebres's Filipe Coelho became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomás Costa in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filipe Coelho saved Lebres from getting behind. Tomás Costa struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Filipe Coelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Sambado. In the 98th minute, Álvaro Campos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SC Sambado's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
