Rolica FC's Cristiano Sobral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Araújo in the 3rd minute of play. After 5 played minutes Rolica FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Amorim. In the last second Cristiano Sobral throw himself and got hold of the ball when Cristóvão Setúbal in the 8thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. F C ESTARREJA's Cristóvão Setúbal got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Cristiano Sobral managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when F C ESTARREJA's Cristóvão Setúbal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Carlos Dias fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F C ESTARREJA's protests and gave Carlos Dias a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of F C ESTARREJA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rolica FC:s goal. F C ESTARREJA:s Jacinto Valente showed great skill when he stopped Hipólito Maciel:s penalty. In the 21st minute, Rolica FC's Jordão Quirino seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jordão Quirino the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Rolica FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jordão Quirino had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Jordão Quirino hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Jacinto Valente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heitor Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. A collision led to Rolica FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Daniel Amorim hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, F C ESTARREJA's Tiago Araújo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Cristóvão Setúbal managed to get in a good position for a shot. F C ESTARREJA's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristóvão Setúbal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Sobral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gonçalo Sousa struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Cristiano Sobral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F C ESTARREJA. Heitor Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Jacinto Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristóvão Setúbal was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Rolica FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Sousa came free, but Cristiano Sobral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, F C ESTARREJA's goal looked a bit too open when Vasco Valido came free, but Jacinto Valente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Jacinto Valente managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Rolica FC's Heitor Carvalho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 61 minutes into the match, Rolica FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Sousa came free, but Cristiano Sobral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Fernando Araújo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristiano Sobral. Rolica FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernando Araújo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Heitor Carvalho hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. If Heitor Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 77th minute, Fernando Araújo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F C ESTARREJA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Cristóvão Setúbal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristiano Sobral having to make a save. Gonçalo Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tiago Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 played minutes Rolica FC got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Viegas. 94 minutes into the match, Rolica FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Araújo came free, but Cristiano Sobral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that F C ESTARREJA were the better team. F C ESTARREJA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
