The referee ignored CLUBE DO RIO F.C's protests and gave Afonso Anjos a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 played minutes CLUBE DO RIO F.C got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Anjos. In the 10th minute, Carlos Candeias sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and CLUBE DO RIO F.C's Luís Moutinho didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeu Sarmento in the 12th minute of play forced Sporting Clube Livrameto's goalkeeper João Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, CLUBE DO RIO F.C's Amadeu Sarmento dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. A hard shot 22 in the game by Diogo Pinho from a close distance when the talented João Saraiva managed to make a qualified save. Sporting Clube Livrameto's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Sporting Clube Livrameto's Amadeu Aleixo got a free kick in the 24th minute. Sporting Clube Livrameto's João Saraiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Clube Livrameto from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Sporting Clube Livrameto's Amável Dias got a free kick in the 29th minute. Amadeu Sarmento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Timóteo Freitas was the one to do the kick off. João Saraiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeu Sarmento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diogo Pinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Saraiva having to interfere. Amadeu Sarmento struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. João Saraiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CLUBE DO RIO F.C. Diogo Pinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Saraiva having to interfere. João Saraiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeu Sarmento in the 64th minute of play. Luís Moutinho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Timóteo Freitas's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Luís Moutinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amável Dias in the 71st minute. When Sporting Clube Livrameto's Timóteo Freitas in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 83 played minutes, Sporting Clube Livrameto's Carlos Candeias shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luís Moutinho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sporting Clube Livrameto reached it. Sporting Clube Livrameto's João Saraiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeu Sarmento in the 84th minute of play. After a rather tough play, CLUBE DO RIO F.C's Manuel Trindade got a free kick in the 87th minute. João Saraiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogo Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. CLUBE DO RIO F.C's Luís Moutinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save CLUBE DO RIO F.C from getting a goal against them. When the referee ended the match the CLUBE DO RIO F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
