After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Valentim Estrela managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC79 Aveiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentim Estrela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Torres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mário Pimenta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gentil Parente in the 11th minute of play forced AC79 Aveiro's goalkeeper Marco Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 minutes of play, AC79 Aveiro's Adalberto Lages made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. André Torres was left in no man's land by his defense there! AC79 Aveiro's Marco Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gentil Parente in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gentil Parente in the 31st minute of play forced AC79 Aveiro's goalkeeper Marco Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Gentil Parente notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of AC79 Aveiro's Marco Figueiredo. Marco Figueiredo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adalberto Lages could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but André Torres made a huge save. Pedro Carrasqueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of SC Camarao booed when AC79 Aveiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mário Pimenta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gentil Parente to strike the kick off in the second half. Gentil Parente blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Figueiredo having to make a save. Adalberto Lages's late challenge caught a SC Camarao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adalberto Lages helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, AC79 Aveiro's Adalberto Lages got a free kick in the 54th minute. Mário Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 70th minute Mário Pimenta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 minutes of play, AC79 Aveiro's Mário Pimenta made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. When Valentim Estrela came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the AC79 Aveiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentim Estrela couldn't finish the play. Mário Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. AC79 Aveiro fully deserved thier win.
