Alexandre Pedroso struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Gentil Trigueiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vaqueira FC. Gentil Trigueiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Fontes in the 28th minute of the match. Filipe Fontes struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Gentil Trigueiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vaqueira FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexandrino Bento in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Leal saved Vaqueira FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Alexandrino Bento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marzovelos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandrino Bento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Leal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filipe Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gentil Trigueiro having to interfere. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 43rd minute, when Marzovelos FC's Damião Brandão after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Manuel Leal in Vaqueira FC's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. After having played for 47 minutes, Alexandre Pedroso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vaqueira FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Pedroso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filipe Fontes was the one to do the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Lázaro Fernandes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vaqueira FC's Manuel Leal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Marzovelos FC's Gentil Trigueiro got control of the ball when Alexandre Pedroso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alexandre Pedroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Fernandes's late challenge caught a Marzovelos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gentil Trigueiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. The supporters of Marzovelos FC booed when Vaqueira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Vaqueira FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Marzovelos FC.
