The Sarge FC fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Sarge FC's Humberto Bomba looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermano Coimbra in the 21st minute of play forced Fc Patrick's goalkeeper Murilo Portela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Murilo Portela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Álvaro Cavaco in the 22nd minute of the match. A throw-in in the 25th minute of the game was made by Adriano Póvoas with Jacob Miranda as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Jacob Miranda charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacob Miranda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jacob Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Murilo Portela came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Sarge FC's Sebastián Durand. But to his dismay, Sebastián Durand quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3.

Humberto Bomba did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Murilo Portela 51 minutes into the match. Murilo Portela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastián Durand in the 68th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Hermano Coimbra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarge FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermano Coimbra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murilo Portela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Murilo Portela made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Sebastián Durand sent off a good shot on target. Sebastián Durand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Murilo Portela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Humberto Bomba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Murilo Portela was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Sarge FC's Cláudio-André Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseu Andrade in the 95th minute of play. Sarge FC played a much better game than Fc Patrick and deserved their victory. The Fc Patrick players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
